School Timings & Shift Operations
We operate in season-based shifts to accommodate weather shifts in Pithoragarh.
Summer Timings (April - Oct)
Morning Assembly begins promptly at 08:10 AM. Late entry is not permitted.
Winter Timings (Nov - March)
Morning Assembly begins promptly at 08:40 AM. Special winter uniform guidelines apply.
School Uniform Specifications
HPS students are expected to maintain neatness and wear the correct uniform daily.
Summer Uniform (April - Oct)
- Boys: White short-sleeve shirt, navy blue trousers, school tie, belt, black leather shoes, navy socks.
- Girls: White short-sleeve shirt, navy blue skirt/trousers, school tie, belt, black leather shoes, navy socks.
- Wednesday/Saturday: Special House T-shirts and white sports shoes.
Winter Uniform (Nov - March)
- Boys: White long-sleeve shirt, navy blue trousers, school blazer/navy blue sweater with school logo, tie, belt, black leather shoes.
- Girls: White long-sleeve shirt, navy blue skirt/trousers, school blazer/navy blue sweater with school logo, tie, belt, black leather shoes, navy blue wool tights.
- Mandatory: School blazer with HPS crest badge for all class V-XII pupils.
General Rules & Code of Conduct
Compliance with school rules is required to foster a safe, polite, and organized learning environment at Himalaya Public School.
Punctuality
Students must arrive at least 10 minutes before assembly. Latecomers will be marked absent after three warnings.
Attendance Standards
Under CBSE guidelines, a minimum of 75% attendance is strictly mandatory for students to sit in final exams.
Discipline & Conduct
Politeness, good manners, clean language, and respect toward teachers and peers are expected at all times on campus.
Electronic Devices
Mobile phones, smartwatches, and tablets are strictly prohibited. Special robotics/coding laptops are provided by the school.
Leave Application
Leave is granted only for valid medical reasons or emergencies. A parent-signed application must be submitted in advance.
