Academics & CBSE Curriculum
Excellent educational standards designed for national and competitive success.
CBSE Academic Standards
Himalaya Public School Pithoragarh follows the curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, adhering to NCERT frameworks. Our pedagogical methods are updated regularly in compliance with the National Education Policy (NEP). We maintain a student-centered curriculum that encourages conceptual understanding rather than rote learning.
Our Academic Divisions
From primary milestones to board preparations, we structure our wings for developmental appropriateness.
Primary Wing (Nursery - Class V)
Focus is on language acquisition, elementary mathematics, environmental awareness, and coordination skills. We employ play-way models, activity sheets, and interactive presentations to make learning enjoyable and stress-free.
Middle Wing (Class VI - Class VIII)
Students transition into deeper subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Social Studies, and Computer Sciences. We emphasize logic, practical experiments, analytical reasoning, and introduce secondary languages.
